The GREAT DORSET MAIZE MAZE

The theme for our Maize Mazes 2008 is Maize Raiders. With maze designs based on images from ‘Ancient Civilisations’ and a quiz trail that will take your visitors from Egypt to Equador, your have the opportunity to create a great day out for all.
The Story - Dr Wherezigon is missing! His lifelong search for the mythical ‘Crystal Cob’ was nearing a conclusion. A note left in his study suggests he was being stalked by ‘persons unknown’ so he has gone to ground to avoid being followed. The Doctor is a canny fellow however and he is leaving a trail of clues to his location as he travels around the world in search of his prize. He has to collect 11 ancient symbols that will lead him to the Crystal Cob and unveil its origins.
The Quiz Dear Trusted Friends - After years of searching, I have discovered how to find the mythical ‘Crystal Cob’. Hidden at ancient sites all over the world are secret symbols that will lead to my prize and unveil the secret of its origins. Sinister forces are at work, figures stalk me from the shadows and I am in fear for the secret that I carry. I must leave tonight and start my quest but I need your help. Follow me and help me find the Crystal Cob before it disappears forever!
Enter the maze ! Find the clues ! Collect 11 ancient symbols ! Find Dr Wherezigon and the Crystal Cob at the goal ! Translate the symbols to find its origins ! Become and archaeological hero!
When you are in the maze, beware of Groszmunt, Thinbad and Blingbat.They are also seeking the Crystal Cob and will stop at nothing to get get their hands on it!
